Congratulations
Ginger Greenwood
for being selected Artist of the Month for August 2010
As a child living in Nassau, Bahamas, an island bursting with color. Ginger received her first Brownie camera as a gift. She wanted to capture the beauty of those colors with it. It is with that camera that Ginger began to take photos of the natural environment around her. Ginger’s early photos were of the market places piled high with colorful fruits, vegetables, and the fauna. As her love of photography took shape, she began to explore photographing nature; animals, flowers, the ocean, sunsets, mountains. Ginger finds it fascinating how light reflects on the colors, patterns, and details in nature. Ginger’s favorite photographs evoke feelings and emotions. |
